no one can make you feel inferior without your consent.
no one has my consent. i’m really tired of feeling inferior. i’m more tired of feeling like a lonely weirdo - my closest friends are either out of state, or 7 years younger than me (who probably thinks i’m a lonely weirdo too).
i might be at a different point in my life than most 23 year olds i know, but i’m okay with that. i wouldn’t trade my daughter for being able to go out drinking whenever, because parenting is much more rewarding. i’m a good friend. i’m a nice person, and i would do anything for the people i love. having a daughter or husband doesn’t change that, and it doesn’t make me less than you. if anything, it makes you less than me, because i’m raising a person. a person that i made.
i’m so sick and tired of worrying about this kind of thing. i think it means my priorities just aren’t in the right order, and i intend to fix that.
